A 2019 Letter

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Just wanted to write you at the beginning of 2019 and wish you a wonderful and blessed year! Next month will start my 5th year in real estate, and as I start another year in this business I wanted to write folks and share some highlights of my work in 2018. These include:

  1. Helping over 20 families buy and sell homes in the Knoxville area. In 2019 I’m looking to double that number.
  2. Success in listing homes- Of homes I sold in 2018, 40% of them went into multiple offer situations, which enabled higher sales prices. In particular, 2 homes I listed sold for 6 and 7 thousand dollars over the ask price. By employing professional photography in marketing and the use of Facebook advertising this has led to increased exposure for my seller clients, which in turn leads to more attention and higher sales prices.
  3. Because of our success on the business side, we have continued to be able to give back to the community. The highlight of 2018 was the organizing of a fundraiser for Go North Animal Transport called 13,000 Saved,  with Gary Sturm of Mortgage Investors Group and Agrifeed Pet Supply, which raised close to $10,000 to support Go North’s mission of rescuing homeless animals in our area.
  4. We’ve continued to publish my newsletter, Cameron Brooks News and Views, with the 2018 highlight issues featuring interviews with civil rights leader Reverend Harold Middlebrook and local business and community leader Eddie Mannis. I’ll continue to publish the newsletter in 2019, with new interviews with local celebrities and also ongoing analysis of what’s going on in real estate.

I pride myself on giving great customer service, and wanted to share two testimonials from clients in 2018:

“I can’t really praise Cameron enough. I met him after I decided to buy a house in Knoxville (where I’ll be retiring), and he was recommended to me as an ethical and caring buyer’s agent. Wow, was he ever! Since I was house shopping from out of town, it meant lots more effort on his part. Yet he remained throughout the process (we closed on the house last week) committed to my needs, to helping me find and buy the perfect house for me. Cameron Brooks is a thoughtful and conscientious agent, someone who sees himself as the buyer’s agent. And if I were selling a house, I’d want him to be my agent again, because I know he’d bring the same commitment to the process.” Janet McAdams

“Cameron made the process of selling a house from hundreds of miles away easy! Everything was handled efficiently. There was no wasted time. Cameron energetically marketed the house with excellent photos and website coverage. He was always there quickly to answer every question. Document prep and  signing was a breeze. He made me feel 100 percent represented. He had to coordinate with my co owner too. This could have been a complicated process, but he kept it moving. He even helped to ensure the house got cleaned at close out. Total professional. Totally efficient. Cameron is great.” Sarah Young

My business is built 100% on referrals and recommendations from friends and family. As we start the new year, I wanted to ask if you knew of anyone needing help with real estate this year that you would let me know and help me make a connection with them. And if you yourself need any help buying or selling to let me know. The centerpiece of my business is providing excellent customer service, expertise in marketing properties, and solid representation of buyer clients- something I strive to be the best at. Thank you for all your support, and I hope you have a blessed and wonderful 2019!
